GENEVIEVE GAUKLER (France) Lecture
Psychedelic simplicity with attitude
Geneviève Gauckler has had a highly successful career
with strong links to electro culture.She started out designing
album covers for F Communications, before working on videos and
animation with Kuntzel and Deygas. In 1999, she turned her attention
to interactive design, joined the Boo.com start-up and worked
with Me Company. On her return to France, she worked as an independent
graphic designer, developing her own style in art, illustration
and character design.
She’s also a member of the Pleix group, a collective of
French graphic designers, 3D artists and musicians.
Geneviève Gauckler has a distinct taste for simple, colorful
shapes. Her world is amusing, optimistic, lively, happy, surprising
and offbeat.
