RINZEN (Australia) Lecture & Workshop
Made by all and not by one
Australian design group Rinzen is perhaps best known for the
collaborative approach of its five members and their RMX projects
which brings artists from around the world together in spontaneous
collaboration.
Rinzen will introduce the next in the series, "Neighbourhood"
where a series of featureless stuffed hand-made toys have been
passed from one player to the next. The result - a neighbourhood
of morphing and evolving characters and personalities.
Rinzen also invite conference goers to join them in a workshop,
where participants will bring simple stuffed shapes to life with
some carefully placed stitches and lovingly drawn lines.
