#3 NEW PICTOPLASMA BERLIN CONFERENCE SPEAKERS ANNOUNCED One of the best reasons to be all positive about the future is undoubtably the coming of our 12th Pictoplasma Conference Berlin, taking place early May and already crowned by a truly epochal line-up of outstanding artists: apart from previously announced conference speakers such as Becky & Joe, Miss Lotion, Jan de Coster or Mr Bingo, we can confirm the participation of Jun Seo Hahm (KR), pushing the boundaries of digital expression and biology inspired life-forms in time and space; Merijn Hos (NL), visual artist and illustrator known for his curious, optimistic characters and passion for joyful, quirky illustrative work; Aisha Franz (DE), comic artist, illustrator and passionate self-publisher moving from zinefest to zinefest with her handmade books; Agostino Lacuri (IT), master of large scale synthetic forms and bright coloured murals, between innocence and artifice, serenity and catastrophe; and Julian Glander (USA), “Former baby, future ghost”, now a visual artist working on illustration, video games and some of the best infinitely loopable animated GIFs… |
