#3 NEW PICTOPLASMA BERLIN CONFERENCE SPEAKERS ANNOUNCED

One of the best reasons to be all positive about the future is undoubtably the coming of our 12th Pictoplasma Conference Berlin, taking place early May and already crowned by a truly epochal line-up of outstanding artists: apart from previously announced conference speakers such as Becky & Joe, Miss Lotion, Jan de Coster or Mr Bingo, we can confirm the participation of Jun Seo Hahm (KR), pushing the boundaries of digital expression and biology inspired life-forms in time and space; Merijn Hos (NL), visual artist and illustrator known for his curious, optimistic characters and passion for joyful, quirky illustrative work; Aisha Franz (DE), comic artist, illustrator and passionate self-publisher moving from zinefest to zinefest with her handmade books; Agostino Lacuri (IT), master of large scale synthetic forms and bright coloured murals, between innocence and artifice, serenity and catastrophe; and Julian Glander (USA), “Former baby, future ghost”, now a visual artist working on illustration, video games and some of the best infinitely loopable animated GIFs…

Speaking of which, good animation is exactly what we're looking for. Consider this an open CALL FOR ANIMATION ENTRIES for the Festival's big screen. Grab the downloadable entry form here - deadline for entries is the 1st of February!

Missing Link Puzzle

#4 ONLINE SHOP OPEN UNTIL DECEMBER 15 + X-MAS DISCOUNT

Many great character driven publication populate our online outlet, which - come to think of it - maybe are the solution to all of your seasonal present problems
Especially if you’re looking for a present for someone special, someone you kind of like, but still want to sadistically push to the edge of going mental - look no further:
We are currently offering our limited edition "Missing Link Puzzle - 999 pieces (+ one missing)" at a all time low X-Mas reduction.
The jigsaw comes WITHOUT one randomly determined piece and is destined to drive even the most stoic crypto expert crazy. BUT: nothing is lost! In order to complete the puzzle and retrieve the misplaced genome, you just have to send photographic proof of its exact position within the otherwise completed assemblage - and we’ll immediately release your personal Missing Link from hostage - and send it directly to your fidgety hands.

OK, enough for now, but while we have far more sunny surprises hidden up our sleeves, please stay safe and expect the next chunk of shiny news to reach you early next year.

Lighting the candles,

peter and lars
