Character Bible with Rilla Alexander and Nathan Jurevicius |
Under the close professional guidance of Academy tutors Rilla Alexander, Nathan Jurevicius and Mehdi Hercberg / Shoboshobo, participants focus on refining their own projects and ideas. Daily workshops by a team of internationally acclaimed artists such as Philip Hunt (Studio aka), Benjamin van Oost (Case Studyo/BamBam) or Matt Jones (Lunartik) challenge you to bring your creation to various media, understand a diverse range of technics, work out and highlight your project's visual essence and refine the conceptual framework. |

Additional guest lecturers give inspiring incentives to the group and act as additional critics to presentations by participants. These guests not only give input from an artistic angle, but also offer insight on aspects such as copyright, licensing, promotion and production. Essential part of the experience is the lively exchange in the group, with further cultural programmes such as animation screenings and museum excursions. Most of all, the Pictoplasma Academy aims to help you push your personal project to the next level and find the strategic path to connect with key partners for its further development. |

Last, but not least, 6 months after the course – with constant, ongoing guidance and feed-back on your project's development – all participants get the chance to present their personal work to a wide, professional, and international audience in an exclusive Academy Alumni Group-show as part of the following Pictoplasma Berlin Festival in 2016. |
