13. November 2010 |
We are very excited to finally return to NYC after our Festival debut in 2008. Thanks to our generous hosts at Parsons we bring along a specially curated animation program to project freshly hatched characters in motion onto the big screen, accompanied by a fine line-up of panelists and artist lecturers such as Parsons' alumni and Scrat inventor Peter de Sève (USA), Craig Redman from Rinzen (AUS/USA), father to the current it-character Darcel Disappoints and Nathan Jurevicius (AUS/USA), genius illustrator, toy creator and scary girl mastermind. |
3. December 2010 20:30 - 00:00 NRW-Forum Kultur und Wirtschaft Ehrenhof 2 40479 Düsseldorf Germany |
The Tour finale of 2010 brings us safely back to Germany, to the wonderful Ehrenhof in Dusseldorf. Here, thanks to the support of the NRW Forum, we invite you to a special character treatment, featuring a smashing bouquet of screenings and thrilling artist lectures, including Rilla and Steve Alexander from Rinzen (AUS), Fons Schiedon (NL) and Roman Klonek (DE), allowing some insight into his wonderful balancing act between propaganda, folklore and pop. |
OK, now you're in on our secret escape-the-office plan. We believe it will also shorten the wait for the next big Pictoplasma Berlin Festival, coming up in April 2011 and truly hope you'll be able to join us back-stage somewhere along the way. Yours truly, Peter and Lars |
