With nearly 3 months left until we all gather in Berlin for the world's largest celebration of contemporary characterism, it's about time for the ingredients to snap into place. Which is exactly what they are starting to do...

Meanwhile the line up of the upcoming Pictoplasma Conference has grown to epic proportion, promising to be the one event in 2017 you can not afford to miss: Adding themselves to the already announced artists taking the stage, such as Sean Charmatz (USA), Jack Sachs (UK), Miss Lotion (DK), Peter Millard (UK), Eran Hilleli (ISR) and Chris Haughton(UK), we have a shiny new batch of speakers to confirm:

Saschka Unseld
(DE/USA), former Pixar director and current co-founder/Creative Director at Oculus Story Studio in San Francisco, where he explores and defines the future of VR storytelling.

  Pikuniku

Pikuniku
(UK/FR), absurd puzzle Indy game in which 'You can't do much, alone' - currently being created by Remi Forcadell and Arnaud De Boc between Paris and London.

Kirsten Lepore

Kirsten Lepore
(USA), LA-based director and animator with clients such as Google, Facebook, or MTV, famed for her Emmy-winning stop-motion episode for Cartoon Network's 'Adventure Time'.

  DXTR

DXTR
(DE), artist, illustrator and founding member of the Weird Collective, pumping his uniquely bold, vibrant style into the world via large scale murals and character-heavy design-work.

Sophie Koko Gate

Sophie Koko Gate
(UK), Royal College of Art graduate living and working between London and Berlin, using her illustrative skills to create animated psychedelic journeys into poetry and neuroscience.

  Mate Steinforth

Mate Steinforth
(DE), designer/director of former Psyop fame gone Creative Director at Sehsucht Berlin, where he recently created an immersive dystopian 360 VR music video for electronic act Moderat.
